Why is it that though we are Americans there is still a special place in our hearts for our ancestry? This past weekend I officiated a wedding that was full of true Scotsmen from the Shetland islands. While doing the pre-marital counseling I was asked to wear a kilt. I was excited about doing so, mainly do to the fact that I know that my ancestry came from Ireland or Scotland. So wearing a kilt just came natural for me. It was fun and if I could I would wear a kilt more often. Congrats to Paul and Jennifer Spence!! And hail to the mother land!

Vacation

There is nothing like vacation!! In two days I will be with those whom I love dearly chill-axing (can I say that?, I just did) in Aptos near Santa Cruz. Visit a few old friends and spend some major quality time (that is well needed) with my Love and our Savior. When God says to blow off a few things in His name He really means it. All honesty if I could I would blow church off tomorrow as well (duties call). I really want to understand more this Hebrew word called VIHINIFESH (translated is the act of restoring). My summer has been crazy and I am ready to be restored. In closing what can you blow off today in God's name?
